As you consider your gift to God, God's gift to you. We live in a world of competing claims -- our consumer culture says to us, "You were born to live richly," yet that how often that translates into "The monster of 'more' controls my life." Consider again Henri Nouwen's wise words: "God doesn't give us just enough. God gives us more than enough: more bread and fish than we can eat, more love than we dared to ask for."
Consider the question, "What is God calling me to give to my church?" and give thanks for God's abundant provision to you!
